Considering for a safe trampoline? At Avyna you're at the right place!
We understand that the purchase of a new trampoline can be a difficult choice. In this blog we will give a few tips which are hopefully useful for safe jumping on our Avyna Pro-Line trampolines.
First of all, it is good to know that safety and quality are two very important things to Avyna. Avyna has her own factory in Vietnam and because of this we are able to design and produce all trampolines by ourself. A major advantage is that we can meet all the safety requirements and also be innovative with our products. Safety is very important to us, as well as quality. Avyna works with high quality materials en that's the reason why we are very proud of our trampolines. Do you know that Avyna gives lifetime warranty on all trampolines frames?
Besides the fact that we try to make our trampolines as safe as possible, there are also a few things you can do yourself to guarantee safe jumping:
1. Always assemble a safety net around the trampoline
On all Above Ground and InGround trampolines, the use of a safety net is mandatory. Only our FlatLevel trampolines are excluded from this rule, and may be used without a safety net, but only if the surface is soft and shock-absorbing. For extra safety we always recommend to assemble a safety net with all trampolines. A safety net prevents falling of the trampoline. All our Pro-Line trampolines are available including a safety net. Already have a trampoline and need to replace your safety net? We also sell separate safety nets.
2. Always provide a flat and soft surface
Never install the trampoline on a hard surface such as concrete or asphalt. Examples of a soft and shock-absorbing surface are grass, sand or wood chips. Also important is a flat surface, because the trampoline has to be stable on the ground. Please check before use if the trampoline is assembled conform the manual. You also have the option to bury your trampoline. Then have a look at our, for example, round InGround or rectangular FlatLevel trampolines.
3. Make sure there is enough space around the trampoline
Always keep a minimum distance of 1,5 meters around the trampoline. Also a minimum of 7.3 meter of overhead clearance is required. There should be no objects above, beneath and next to the trampoline, this way you can jump safely.
4. Check possible defects before jumping and always maintain your trampoline in a good way
Proper maintenance and care will help to extend the lifetime of your trampoline. Although we supply trampolines and spare parts of high quality, it is important to inspect the trampoline before every use. Check for example if the jumping mat, safety pad and springs do not have any defects. Are your trampoline parts ready to replace? Do not hesitate and replace them as soon as possible to guarantee safety. We also recommend you to protect your trampoline against the weather. Examples of this are wind, snow and ice. Especially now the cold weather is approaching, a weather cover or an anchor set for your trampoline are definitely recommended.
5. Always read the safety instructions carefully and instruct your children
Especially (little) children like to do crazy on the trampoline. Of course this is understandable, but please make sure that they know how to jump on the trampoline. Please make sure you (and the children) are aware of the safety instructions. A maximum of 1 person is allowed to jump on the trampoline. Please be careful with more jumpers at the same time, because this increases the risk of accidents and injuries. Also make sure your kids know how to get on and off the trampoline. Let them jump in the middle of the jumping mat and not around the safety pad. In case of rain, the jumping mat will be very slippery so be careful. Always close the safety net before jumping and also keep an eye on the children.
We hope these trampoline safety tips are useful.
If you have any questions left, we are happy to help you.
